					<description>I suspect that if one could find the data, one would find that average marrying age varies region to region as well.  I have no doubt that, for example, in California it is higher, and in Alabama it is lower.  Partially this is due to educaiton, but partially it is due to culture, of which religion plays a key role.  

It is simply much more expected in Alabama that one will get married, but in CA, it is expected that one &lt;i&gt;won't&lt;/i&gt; get married until one is in one's late 20s/early 30s.</description>
