BOTH ENTERTAINING AND DISTURBING

It’s a great idea and it’s extremely well-executed, but I am disturbed by the sight of Charlie Brown’s little sister shakin’ her groove thang:

Hey Ya!, Charlie Brown (QuickTime required)

FLY CASTING

This concept is shamelessly stolen from one of this blog’s fourteen readers, who e-mailed me lamenting the fact that Courteney Cox, Dan Marino, and Tone-Loc haven’t made a movie together since Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

The challenge: Pick three people–an actor, an athlete, and a musician–who shouldn’t be in the same movie, and tell me what movie they shouldn’t be in. Fer egg sample:

  • Woody Allen, Wayne Gretzky, and Barry Manilow in Kickboxer V: Fists of Manhattan
  • Adam Sandler, Bill Romanowski, and Jay-Z in The Henry Kissinger Story
  • Mason Adams, Larry Spinks, and John Mayer in Trying to Clear My Throat
  • Wilford Brimley, Arnold Palmer, and Etta James in Eighty-Four Candles

Have at it . . .
