FRIDAY AFTERNOON

has vanished into a vast black hole. My head hurts. My wife and child aren’t back from school yet (everything’s OK, they’re just not back). There’s nothing good on TV tonight. I want a Dove bar. My local grocery store doesn’t stock RC Cola. And there’s several other minor things wrong with the world today.

  2. I got less than six hours of sleep for the fourth straight day. My meds are making me edgy. Everything is going nuts at work, and I’m getting that awful feeling that I am back in the work doghouse. Plus, I need to do the wife’s website this weekend so she can start selling her resume service so we won’t starve on my terrible government salary.

    There is good news. OK, there isn’t.

  4. I started watching midway through Season Two, got hooked, and then proceeded (er, managed) to record all of Season 3 plus this abbrev. Season 4, save one episode.

    If it ever comes to DVD, and you can rent it, please give it a look. I’ll plan to buy.
