JOYNER’S COROLLARY

Over at OTB, James is suffering from the mother of all multiple-mistaken-identity problems. Based on this, I’m going to declare Joyner’s Corollary to Hasty’s First Axiom of Blogging:

There are also certain names which a blogger is better off not invoking at all, scandal or not.

Anybody who’s ever seen the movie “Candyman” is already familiar with this concept, of course. But other bloggers would do well to note that, unless you’ve got a taste for low comedy, or you’re running a test of MT-Blacklist, it’s wise to avoid certain topics. Nobody really wants to read Bill Clinton’s e-mail, after all.

For the record, I still don’t have any nude pictures of Destiny Stahl, I’m not Jimmy Ray, I’m not Lisa, and I didn’t let the dogs out.

  4. I’ve noted a precipitous decline in interest in nude pictures of Destiny Stahl of late. Either her 15 minutes are up or people have realized how unattractive she is. I continue to get plenty of people wanting to see Britney Spears “nacked” and expressing a strong desire to know her in the biblical sense, however.
