Yes, I was thinking of who you think I was thinking of when I came up with “borebarian.”–mh
Some new words I’d like to add to the dictionary:
aggressive-passive behavior n. The standard emotional state of school-age children at 7 AM on a Monday.
borebarian n. Any media personality whose attempts to be crude and/or edgy wind up being trite and/or asinine.
clintern n. A lowly-paid office worker of dubious provenance.
deinstructionism n. The painful but necessary process of unlearning what you were taught in school.
encrummium n. A collection of bad reviews of an artistic work.
flogroll v. 1. To prolong an internet flame war to the point where no one, not even the involved parties, can remember what the original dispute was about; 2. linking to blogs you don’t read, but which have liberal reciprocal-link policies.
garymander v. To get caught up in a political scandal, then promptly disappear from the face of the earth.
hearassment v. Listening to a lecture and/or talk show by a person with whom you vehemently disagree simply so you will acquire a deeper level of disgust for that person.
idiotlogue See borebarian.
just-in-slime delivery n. The final negative attack of a political campaign, executed too late for the attackee to respond.
Kanzania n. The mental condition of coastal types who hold outdated stereotypes about the Midwest.
moorebid fixation n. The fear of documentary films.
