Sporting events have tended to be a more difficult sell for one reason or other. Basketball attendance over the past several years has not been good & revenue has decreased. Football attendance is pretty good, but could be better. The baseball team is good & draws well-- btw, they set a school single-game home attendance record against Ole Miss earlier in the week. Eustachy does know Mississippi well & has ties to the area. He's a good hire for USM. USM has its own particular concerns regarding sports.
