THE WORLD IS ABUZZ

There’s a new Tony Kornheiser Instant Classic about cicadas today. I wish I could say we shared in the problem, but our cicadas haven’t defrosted yet.

  3. The beast hates to be a uh, buzzkill, but Kornheiser needs to brush up on his entomology. Cicadas hatch every year, it’s just that this particular brood (so-called Brood X), is the largest in the cycle.

    Of course, the beast doubts that Jim Rome could riff on cicadas, correctly or otherwise, without promoting himself every other sentence.
