When I went up to Evansville & Cincinnati this summer, I listened to the LOTR as broadcast on NPR (9 CDs, I think), Crichton's "13th Warrior," King's "From a Buick Eight" (both unabridged), and Seamus Heaney's "Beowulf" translation.
