FOR THE ARCHIVES
I know that stuff on the Internet gets archived, so this is for posterity: thirty years from now, some researcher is going to be working up a list of the ten worst NFL games of all time. If that’s you, I submit for your consideration tonight’s Miami Dolphins/Cleveland Browns matchup, a game which featured two 3-11 teams playing underneath interim coaches. Six turnovers, and nearly fifty minutes of scoreless gametime.
The QBs in this matchup were LukeMcCown and AJ Feeley, each certain someday to be as well-remembered as Don Strock, Turk Schonert, or Wade Wilson. And in case you’re wondering if anybody watched this football equivalent of a Sunday-morning realtor’s showcase, I can testify that at least one person did.
