PING UNIVERSE
Hi. My name’s Mark. I used to write a weblog at this location, but that was before I had three kids and the Martian Snot Beast moved (back) into my sinuses.
I am still alive but finding it hard to write anything much these days. Life’s gotten a bit overwhelming.
Stay tuned, though; I really doubt I’m done blogging yet.

From what I hear, the snotbeast that’s currently making the rounds in my neck of the woods is called Respiratory Syncytial Virus. It’s like the common cold on steroids, and it’s actually somewhat dangerous to infants (especially preemies). It’s also really, really, really contagious. The fiancee managed to give it to me and most of her lab (who knows how she got it).
