Discussion: Many of the downward movements in this week’s ballot are not due to losses or underwhelming performances. They’re the result of me deciding to move up teams which impressed me. Cal, on the other hand, came this close to getting dumped entirely. Boston College was a tough call; they played a close game against Central Michigan, but I think Central Michigan might secretly be pretty good. We’ll find out this weekend, I guess. OSU being ranked ahead of Texas was another close call. The Bucks played well against Northern Illinois, whom I had ranked last week, but they gave up a ton of yards to Garrett Wolfe. Texas probably doesn’t have anybody like Wolfe on their roster. Notre Dame is a shaky #1, but I’ll stick with them for at least one more week.
