I HATE IT WHEN I’M BELATEDLY RIGHT

That IU renaissance I’ve been calling for since 2002 sure picked a funny time to show up.

Boo to the Iowa defense, unable to protect a lead against a team that hadn’t shown any real flashes of offensive brilliance all season. Drew Tate and Kyle Schlicher didn’t play wonderfully today either, but any attempts to pin this loss on them must be counterbalanced by Iowa’s persistent inability to cover the underneath routes. It’s time to be sanguine, Hawkeye fans; this is a 7-5 team that might get lucky enough to finish 9-3. As for next week’s game, I think I’ll rake leaves.
