Discussion:
- Even I can’t put lip gloss on the steaming remains of Iowa’s season. The more I think about it, the madder I get at the Hawks’ continued tendency to play too deep in passing situations. It’s not like this is the first time this has happened . . . this season.
- Yes, Michigan is that good. Yes, I think U$C is just waiting to be found out. I mean, winning at home by 7 to Arizona State? That’s like getting your toe chewed off by a bunny. You cannot be proud you survived the attack.
- Is anyone else amazed at how far Tommy Tuberville will go to prove a point?
- Apropos of that, I watched the Full Circle coverage of the Florida/Auburn game on ESPN2 . . and really liked it. It was like hanging out in a sports bar watching the game. I don’t think I’d want to watch it if I had a dog in the fight, but for somebody who just wants to see the game and hear people talk about it, it was good.
- Admit it, football fan. You want Miami to act like a bunch of English soccer hooligans.
