A STUNNING LACK OF ORIGINALITY
Your rumor du jour in the search for Dan McCarney’s replacement: Look for Cyrus to take a long look at Montana’s head coach, Bob Hauck. This according to the spaghetti site Footballscoop.com.
Frankly, I doubt it. Iowa State hiring a guy named ‘Hauck’ who’s already lost to Iowa once?

How about Georgia’s Mark Richt? He could coach both schools at once ala Pop Warner.
He has no ties to Iowa and as far as I can tell, has never been defeated by the Hawkeyes.
Is Johnny Majors still around?
How about one of the Bowden boys?
