ALTMAN AGONISTES

A little more than a day after being introduced as the new head basketball coach at Arkansas, Dana Altman has decided to come back to Creighton.

Omaha is an underrated city, but come on . . .

  1. Hey, $1 million per year goes a long way in Omaha, and you work at a place where they’ll be satisfied with a bid every five years or so. Sounds like heaven compared to Fayetteville where they’ll fire you the same year you get to the NCAAs.

  2. I’m not sure any other NCAA school can compete with Arkansas in the “unrealistic self-opinion” category. Deer Lord.

  3. Not even Ole Miss?

  4. Clearly, this discussion merits its own post. At least Arkansas only has to go back to the Ken Hatfield and Lou Holth eras. And they had that whole Forty Minutes Of Hell to celebrate.

Ole Miss has to go back forty freaking years. They do seem to love themselves quite a bit, all things considered.
