How could anyone not get turned off from Spam after that? I have never been a picky eater, but Good Lord did I struggle through each of those "open-faced sandwich" suppers. Ugh! But, I will agree that pan-fried Spam, like bacon or ham, rules! Didn't try that until I reached college ...
